Woman dead in fatal Stellenbosch crash, one man left injured

The Stellenbosch police have confirmed that it has registered a culpable homicide case for investigation following a fatal crash in the area on Friday.

 

According to Police Sergeant Wesley Twigg, a man and a woman were involved in the crash on Blaauwklippen Road during the early hours of Friday morning

 

Twigg says the adult female was fatally injured, and an adult male was injured.

 

Police officers reportedly responded to the accident scene, and upon their arrival, they found the victims with injuries to their bodies.

 

 

Twigg says the woman was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel, while the male was taken to a medical facility for medical treatment.

 

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
