Another 3 people have been arrested for Malcolm Pather’s murder. Cape Town Police have confirmed that the trio has appeared in court this week in connection with the murder of the Richmond resident.
Another 3 people arrested for Malcolm Pather’s murder
The 41-year-old was reported missing on 13 July by his brother-in-law after leaving his house. His body was found the next day, in a burnt-out vehicle. Captain F.C. Van Wyk says the new suspects were recently taken into custody in Mitchell’s Plain and Sea Point.

Pather-murder: Five suspects have appeared in court
They appeared in the Atlantis Magistrates Court on Monday, along with the first 2 suspects, who were detained shortly after the crime. The suspects, totalling 5, face charges of murder, kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.
Pather-case is back in court later this week
Van Wyk says the case heads back to court tomorrow. He says there could be a possible bail application, but this has not yet been confirmed.
