Two elderly people have come under attack in Franschhoek

Two elderly people have come under attack during a robbery attempt on a wine farm in Franschhoek. The pair, in their sixties, was reportedly staying at the Chamonix private wine farm on the R-45, when three masked men entered the premises early Saturday and allegedly attacked them.

The Police’s Frederick Van Wyk says detectives are probing a case of house robbery. He says the pair had to undergo medical treatment. According to reports, a similar incident happened in June, when 2 people were attacked while at the venue.
