A cache of unlicensed firearms has been intercepted

A cache of unlicensed firearms destined for the Western Cape has been intercepted by the Police. The National Police Spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, says after several days of surveillance and information gathering, the anti-kidnapping task team pounced on a premises in Meyersdal in Johannesburg.

There, they found 30 unlicensed pistols that appeared to be boxed and ready for delivery. Two suspects were arrested.
