Crew members at the NSRI assisted in three rescues

In the first incident off-shore at Strand, the rescue crew saved 5 fishermen. This is after their fishing craft began to sink, having taken on water. In the second rescue, a sailing yacht with two people on board was assisted. They were in trouble after stranding on a sandbank in Gordon’s Bay.
