Passers-by found the body of a 36-year-old man in the bushes along the N-2 and Sir Lowry’s Pass Road yesterday. A taxi driver has reportedly gone missing

Meanwhile, Public Order Police remain on high alert in Somerset West, following threats of taxi violence. Community crime groups yesterday alerted residents to steer clear of the Somerset Mall taxi rank, where locals reported, fighting among taxi drivers, but Police have confirmed that no incidents, damage or injuries were reported at the taxi rank or surrounding areas yesterday. Spokesperson, Malcolm Pojie says officers are vigilant and will address any incidents, if they should occur.
