In an effort to support the thousands of Two Oceans Marathon runners, and to alleviate Cape Town’s high traffic volumes — PRASA and Metrorail will be running a special train service this Sunday.

At a cost of R20, the special Two Oceans Marathon ticket will allow commuters to travel to and from the Mother City. The ticket can also be used to hop on and off the Simons Town line.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for spectators to support the runners and enjoy the scenic views along the route. The region is proud to be a part of this iconic event, and to provide a safe and convenient transportation option for all participants,” said Mihi.

The ticket can be bought at any Metrorail train station across the region.
