Safety and Security MMC, JP Smith says soon afterwards, the mom, Cachet Scala and her baby, Isaiah, arrived at the Fire Station. Firefighter Samuels then set about trying to check for any blockages in his airway. Smith says Samuels then managed to dislodge the blockage which provided instant relief to the baby. The infant was taken to the hospital for further observation and care, on the advice of the Platoon’s senior medic, Firefighter Baigum Abrahams.
