PRASA avails special late train service for Bafana Bafana match

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) and Metrorail has announced that it is availing late trains for Bafana Bafana fans in Cape Town tomorrow. This comes as the national soccer team prepares to face South Sudan at the DHL stadium. Kick-off is at 18h00.

 

The rail agency’s Zino Mihi said the special train service is for supporters AFTER the big match. Trains will depart from Cape Town station at 21h00 for the Cape Flats line and at 21h30 on the Southern, Northern and Central lines.

“It is important to note that there will only be one train for each line, except for Central,” said Mihi.

Cape Flats: (T0535 Cape Town to Retreat)

Departs from Cape Town Station at 21h00.

 

Central (T9921 Cape Town to Nyanga)

Departs from Cape Town Station at 21h00

 

T9923 (Cape Town to Nolungile)

Departs from Cape Town Station at 21h30

 

South (T0161 Cape Town to Simon’s Town)

Departs from Cape Town Station at 21h30

 

North (T3211 Cape Town – Bellville – Eerste Rivier/Strand)

Departs from Cape Town Station at 21h30
