At the same time, a Yellow Level 2 warning for damaging winds that could result in difficult driving conditions and localised damage to settlements. This will affect the following areas: the City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, Overberg, Garden Route and Central Karoo municipalities on Sunday.

“This would include clearing out drainage systems and cleaning gutters, removing dead tree branches and other obstructions, and digging trenches around their homes to divert water away,” said Powell.
