Visitors to the Time Out Market at the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town will be delighted by new additions to the menus of the various upmarket stallholders as they usher in the Summer.
Ushering in the Summer
Some of the newly introduced summer dishes, people can look forward to, include, Chilli Prawns from Barakat, Hamburger Mazemen from Ramenhead and Otoro Temaki from Sushiya.
There are also Korean Fried Chicken from The Melting Pot, the Classic South African Braai IPlate from Milio and the Cookie Bomb from Unframed to look forward to.
Cuisine-connoisseurs
The General Manager of Time Out Market Cape Town, Russ Meyer, they’re excited to usher in the energy of summer with fresh, bold flavours that capture the spirit of the season.
He added, “It’s a summer experience you don’t want to miss.”
He says their chefs have outdone themselves, by creating dishes that not only highlight local favourites but also surprise and delight with every bite.

Meyer says it’s not just about the food at Time Out Market, which is a food and cultural market bringing the best of the city together under one roof.
Shake up the bar scene
He says, in the coming months, guests can gear up for the Battle of the Bartenders, where Cape Town’s top mixologists will face off. They will shake up the bar scene with creative cocktails.
Meyer added, “Cape Town comes to life in the summer, and our Market is at the heart of it all.”
There will also be an opportunity for you to refine your mixology skills.
Join the Cocktail Masterclasses
There will be Cocktail Masterclasses, where expert bartenders will show how to craft the perfect drink. These events will take place at the Time Out Studio.
He said, “We’re not just a food destination – we’re a place where the city’s creativity and culture come alive.”
This is the chic mezzanine-level cocktail bar that doubles as the Market’s cultural hub. Information about this, as well as other summer programming, will be announced soon.
