Vredenburg Police detectives attached to the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) have asked the public to help identify two men, who allegedly raped a woman.
According to the police report, the 30-year-old woman was walking through an open field behind Spruit Street, Vredenburg on Sunday 21 April 2024 when the two assailants grabbed her and raped her, before fleeing. The victim headed home and subsequently reported the matter to the authorities.

“We kindly request anyone who may have information regarding the people in the attached identity kits to contact the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Helendine May on 022 714 8617, 082 522 1011 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111,” said Western Cape Police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana.
