The Western Cape Education Department says it has already received for Grades 1 and 8 learners, ahead of 2025.

The online admissions window opened on Monday 11 March, and is set to close on 12 April at midnight. Education MEC David Maynier says last year, the department received more than 125 000 applications for these grades and it is appealing to parents who still need to apply to do so right away.
