Goodluck announces that they’re expecting a new bandmate

Popular SA music group, GoodLuck, are getting a new bandmate. Juliet “Jules” Harding, lead singer of the band, and Ben Peters, producer and co-founder of GoodLuck, announced their pregnancy in an Instagram post.

The news comes as a surprise as it also confirmed the bandmates romantic relationship. In the post, the couple shared they’ve been together for 15 years and didn’t intentionally hide their involvement, choosing to not be “particularly public about it…”

 

Further in the post, Jules wrote, “As we enter this new chapter with our little one, we are pretty nervous and uncertain about the challenges that lie ahead. But we are also giddy with excitement to be bringing a new soul into this wild, wonderful world!”

 

The couple confirmed in the post that their baby is due in June and that they are grateful to have an extended community of supportive loving people.

 

The news was welcomed by many of South Africa’s favourite artists with Majozi saying, “This child will have hundreds of babysitters because we all love you so much”

Shekinah, Jimmy Nevis, Carli J Meyers, Sun El Musician, Amy Jones and Kyle Deutsch were among the hundreds of people who offered congratulations and well wishes to the new parents.
