Yesterday we got a call from Colin who wanted to wish his wife Donna a happy birthday and did it by revealing a secret she tried to keep for a while – the fact that she had a pet turkey in her childhood. So we called her up today to hear more:

Just so we’re clear, Donna is the one that named the Turkey ‘idiot’. We wanted to check if anyone in Cape Town had unusual pets growing up. We just had to share this adorable story about Pikkie the penguin.
