Immerse yourself in a vibrant New Year’s Eve celebration at the V&A Waterfront!

Join us as we usher in the New Year with the V&A Waterfront’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. The festivities commence at 3:00 PM, featuring artists performing on a specially constructed stage by the water, promising to captivate the audience as we approach midnight. You can look forward to an exceptional lineup of artists, including Tarryn Lamb, Just Jinjer, Sun El, Black Ties, Mandisi Dyantyis, The Rivertones, Seth Grey, and The Ploemies.

Act quickly, as many of our charters, restaurants, and hotels are rapidly filling up. Secure your spot by making reservations soon to ensure a fantastic night.

Some Important Information:

Family Fun:

  • Bring the kids, but keep an eye on them. We have child ambassadors who’ll tag your little ones in case of separation.

Parking Puzzle:

  • Limited parking at V&A, so hop on public transport to dodge the traffic jam. If you do park, plan your exit carefully; it might take a while.

To-Do’s and To-Don’ts:

  • Get in early to beat the traffic
  • Bring your ID if you plan to enjoy drinks at V&A Waterfront Restaurants, Taverns, or Bars.

 

No-Go List:

Leave these items at home:

  • Drones
  • Glass bottles, cans, and sharp objects
  • Illegal substances
  • Wheels like skateboards, scooters, and bikes
  • Weapons, fireworks, and laser pointers
  • Large flags, noisy gadgets, and sale items
  • No animals, please
  • Umbrellas, braais, and camping chairs
  • Firearms and other risky stuff
  • Cooler boxes

Stay Hydrated and Satisfied:

  • Food and drinks are ready and waiting. No outside food or drinks (including alcohol), and no sipping outside restaurants and bars.

Party Rules:

  • SAPS will deal with public drinkers, so keep it indoors.
  • We’ll keep the party safe by confiscating banned items and denying entry to intoxicated folks.

Cashless Convenience:

  • ATMs from FNB, Nedbank, Absa, and Standard Bank are around, but consider going cashless for a smoother experience.
