Spend Heritage weekend at the V&A Waterfront’s Makers Landing where you can discover and enjoy all things Halaal at the Makers Halaal Market on Saturday, 24 and Sunday, 25 September from 10 am.

Curated by Conscious Meat Merchants, the market aims to celebrate premium Halaal artisans across a variety of fields. The market will showcase leaders in their industries and specifically highlight food, design, clothing, art and music for everyone to experience. Visitors can expect to meet over 50 vendors throughout the weekend.

“We believe all of these things are bound together by a like-minded community, with a similar dedication to their craft. There is a common passion in all the experts who will be participating, and this passion is only amplified when brought together,” says curator Mohammed Adam.

Some of the event vendors will include popular businesses that are well-known in the halaal community, namely: Aniseeds, Dumpling Girl, Pomegranate Wellness, Gadija Khan, and Zaakira Ashtiker.

Tenants of Makers Landing will also be trading on the day and visitors will enjoy demo class workshops hosted by Sweet Lion Heart, Bread Bar, Charming Chef, Moses Coffee and Zayaan Khan.
