After 870 days the NICD will stop posting daily Covid-19 updates

Published on

For over two years COVID-19 daily updates have been part of our lives.

But the National institute for Communicable Diseases says the present phase of the pandemic, coupled with dwindling COVID-19 case numbers has necessitated a re-evaluation of their daily reporting strategy. Through careful consideration and extensive council, it has been agreed that the reporting of daily COVID-19 surveillance data will conclude on Friday, 29 July 2022.

The reporting of COVID-19 surveillance data, however, including the latest Testing Summary, will continue as per normal with the data being published in the existing weekly surveillance reports.
