Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says the deployment of Border Management Agency guards is another way of further boosting security and safety at the country’s borders.
Motsoaledi says these BMA guards will work hand-in-hand with the SANDF to control crime hotspot areas along the country’s almost 5,000 km of border-line.
He says he will this week attend the deployment ceremony of the first 200 BMA Border Guards at the Beitbridge border post.
