The Road Freight Association has written to the president to ask him to intervene, after another blockade of key cargo routes across the country. The N3 was blocked in both directions at Van Rhenen’s Pass, for more than 24 hours and more than 350 trucks were on the road. In an open letter, CEO Gavin Kelly told Ramaphosa that road freight companies are being targeted and that the entire supply chain is under attack.
