Allegations of child abductions have some Cape Town communities in an apparent blood-thirsty frenzy, taking justice into their own hands. Yesterday morning, angry Parkwood residents allegedly brutally assaulted a man, suspected of kidnapping, before setting him alight in his car. Police spokesperson, Joseph Swartbooi says a case of murder has been opened. In a related case, residents from Hanover Park allegedly attacked a man they had accused of attempting to kidnap two children.
