WHO: more than 20 million children have missed out on the crucial vaccines they need.

The covid-19 positivity rate has breached the 20%-mark  after more than 6 000 new cases have been reported, over the latest 24-hour monitoring period. The positivity rate is now 21.1% and 3 deaths have also been recorded.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation says because of the Covid-19 pandemic more than 20 million children have missed out on the crucial vaccines they need. This week the WHO marks Immunization Week and says because of the current pandemic they are a decade behind in the vaccination of minors.
