Western Cape Finance MEC David Maynier says the province will ramp up efforts to ensure healthcare facilities are prepared for the fifth wave of Covid-19 infections.

Tabling his Budget for the 2022/23 financial year, he said safety will be prioritized and there will be a focus on jobs, the wellbeing of residents, and also support for vulnerable municipalities.
