Simon Ince from Somerset West has been awarded a Guinness World Record after swimming from Simon’s Town to Rooi Els, crossing False Bay, this past Sunday.

At 62, he is the oldest person to complete the 35 km swim. It took Ince just less than 11 hours to complete the crossing.
