The Zondo Commission has recommended that former Transnet executives Brian Molefe, Anoj Singh and Siyabonga Gama be prosecuted for their role in the corrupt procurement of locomotives for the state-owned logistics company.

The commission’s recommendation is that they be investigated by law enforcement authorities with the aim to prosecute them for fraud, contravening the Public Finance Management Act, racketeering, wilful or gross negligence and a range of other alleged wrongdoings.
