Police commissioner General Khehla Sitole has denied allegations that he has not cooperated with IPID’s probe into the death of murdered top detective Charl Kinnear.

His office says it was in fact Sitole who had referred the Kinnear case to IPID. It was reported yesterday that IPID had registered a criminal complaint against Sitole for not cooperating with the probe.
