[LISTEN] Maurice and Angel say goodbye

Published on

As the saying goes, “the more things change, the more they stay the same”.

It’s a new year but things are changing and change is here to stay! Makers of fishpaste, Redro and Pecks Anchovette delivered a KO to Maurice and Angel’s childhood after announcing that these brands will be a thing of the past. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Smile Drive team heard of more things that were discontinued.

The memories of chips on bread during breaks or after school!

Remember Kreoles? They might be scarce but if you look hard enough, you’ll find them, like Naiema did.

If you’re a child born in the 80’s, you’ll remember Dirkie.

These are unprecedented times and change is part of the “new” normal. What won’t change, is the break away from the mundane with Maurice and Angel, every weekday on the Smile Drive from 3 to 6 pm.
