The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority has approved a third Pfizer covid-19 vaccine booster dose for people 18 years and older.

This must be administered 6 months after a second dose. SAHPRA has also approved a 3rd Pfizer jab for people,12 years and older, who have very weak immune systems. This must be administered 28 days after the second dose. Spokesperson Yuven Gounden says there’s no approval yet for those who have received a Johnson and Johnson jab, on whether they should receive a Pfizer booster:
