[LISTEN] Aunty Moira Gets Her License at 66

You’re never too old to follow your dreams. Case in point is Moira le Roux – one of our listeners who, at the age of 66, told us in December 2019 that she really wanted to learn how to drive.

 

 

After setting her up with a driving school and some pointers from the city’s traffic officials we did a two year follow up with her.

 


 

Aunty Moira had finally achieved a lifelong goal of learning to drive and now has her driver’s license! And she was determined to keep her promise of visiting the Smile Breakfast show when she could finally drive, so she did. She arrived at our studios and told us about how her driving has been going

 


But does Moira have the need for speed?

 

And what made a happy morning even more special was when her son called the show:
