City gearing up for ‘Vooma’ vaccination weekend – the aim is to reach at least 500 000 people countrywide

The City of Cape Town has finalised its logistics for the upcoming national vaccination weekend.

Spearheaded by the National Department of Health, the ‘Vooma’ vaccination weekend between 1 and 3 October 2021, aims to reach at least 500 000 people countrywide.

The City will have a number of fixed and roving vaccination sites operating during this period, in the eight health sub-districts across the metropole.

Click HERE for all the City vaccination sites that will be open this weekend.

The Western Cape Government will also open numerous vaccination sites. A comprehensive list, with operating hours, is available HERE.

Anyone, 18 years and older, can go to a vaccination site where they will be registered and vaccinated.
