Two suspects arrested in Gugulethu for the possession of drugs, illegal firearms and ammunition

Police in Cape Town says they arrested two suspects in Gugulethu this week, for the possession of drugs, illegal firearms and ammunition.

Police also, during the arrest, confiscated more than 28,000 Mandrax tablets, close to 2,000 grams of Tik, as well as crack-cocaine and dagga.

The drugs have an estimated street-value of more than R 1-million.

Police also confiscated two 9mm firearms with ammunition.

The suspects, aged 28 and 32, will appear in court once charged.
