Majority of Western Cape residents, vaccinated on Friday, young people between the ages of 18 & 35

Published on

Premier Alan Winde says the majority of the more than 50-thousand Western Cape residents, vaccinated on Friday, were young people between the ages of 18 and 35.

Registrations and vaccination for this age group opened on Friday, with thousands of young people registering for their jab.

Winde says these young people helped boost the province’s over-all vaccination-rate.

He urges those who have not yet registered on the EVDS-system to do so as soon as possible.
