More than 339-thousand Western Cape residents, older than 60, fully vaccinated against Covid-19

The Western Cape Health department says it has, by 5-pm on Friday afternoon, vaccinated more than 450-thousand residents, older than 60 against Covid-19.

More than 339-thousand of these residents, over 60, are now fully vaccinated.

To date, more than 290-thousand residents, aged between 50 and 59 have received an injection, with just more than 100-thousand of people  in this cohort that had been fully vaccinated.

Close to 375-thousand residents, in the 35 to 49 year age group, have already received one dose of their vaccination.

More than 140-thousand people, in this age group are fully vaccinated.
