Eskom has requested the public to reduce the usage of electricity as the South African Weather Service has warned of adverse weather conditions.

Published on

The Weather Service says wet, windy and cold conditions are expected in some parts of the country this week as a result of a cold front. Following this warning, Eskom is appealing to members of the public to continue using electricity sparingly. The cold front will increase the demand for electricity thereby putting pressure on the power system. Loadshedding was last implemented on the 13th of June.
