Front-line Tourism-workers urged to get their Covid-19 vaccination

Published on

Deputy Tourism Minister, Fish Mahlalela has encouraged front-line employees in the tourism sector – who qualify for their Covid-19 vaccination under phase 2 of the country’s vaccination campaign – to go for their injection as soon as they can.

Mahlalela visited the Garden Route and Klein Karoo district-municipalities over the weekend, to engage with role-players on how to help the sector recover now, and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

He says this may also encourage overseas tourists to again visit the country.

He says other workers in the sector, would be vaccinated under phase 3 of the vaccination programme.
