He says future projection shows that his department is underfunded. He tabled a budget of just over R60-billion in Parliament today. He said health expenditure is expected to increase by 0.8 percent per year for 2020/2021 to R59-billion for 2023/2024. An estimated 85.9 percent of the budget will be transferred to the provinces through conditional grants.
