The Western Cape has recorded 82 additional deaths, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the province to 9-thousand 658. As of 1pm on (FRI 22 Jan) the Western Cape has 25-thousand 278 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 260-thousand 389 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 225-thousand 453 recoveries.
