The Department of Health says South Africa will be getting 9-million doses of a covid-19 vaccine from Johnson & Johnson. The J&J doses take the total number of doses that South Africa stands to receive to more than 30-million. The country is set to receive about 12-million doses doses of the vaccine from the WHO’s Covax scheme, about 12-million doses from an African Union arrangement, and a further 1.5-million from the Serum Institute of India.
