The former body-guard of ANC secretary general, Ace Magashule, has been found guilty for the theft of a Pierneef painting, worth millions of Rand. Ricardo Mettler was found guilty on the charge in the Free State High Court, earlier today. He reportedly stole the painting from the former Free State premier’s office, in Bloemfontein. The painting was valued at around R8-million, when it went missing two years ago.
