The Western Cape covid-19 infection rate increased further over the weekend, and currently stands at more than 130-thousand cases. To date, nearly 116-thousand people have already recovered from the virus, bringing the province’s recovery rate to around 90%. The overall covid-19 death toll in the Western Cape currently stands at 4,629.
