The Western Cape Education Department says the first 50 of Western Cape teachers received their Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 injection yesterday.
MEC for Education Debbie Schafer says the vaccination program will be further expanded, over the next few days, to reach as many teachers and school staff as possible.
She says teachers in rural areas will receive their injection from Friday.
