4 482 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in the country, over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 cases registered worldwide passed 300 million on Friday. This as the Omicron variant’s rapid spread is setting new infection records in dozens of countries.  In France, a new variant has been detected.
At the same time, health experts have warned that people are at a higher risk of getting Flurona. In recent weeks many cases of a combination of influenza and Covid-19 have been reported. It’s also believed that there are many people who have been infected with both viruses but have not yet been diagnosed.
