Published on

Premier Alan Winde has commended residents, between the ages of 35 and 49 years, who have come out in numbers to register for their Covid-19 vaccination.

During his weekly digicon, he said that even though the province’s infection-rate is now starting to flatten, people should still continue to register for and receive their injection to better protect themselves and those around them.

He says the province’s vaccination strategy is continuing to push ahead with more than 850-thousand residents that have, to date been vaccinated.

More than 10-million people South Africans fall into this cohort.
