Our Constitution begins with a Preamble that binds all people of South Africa to vision for our country which reflects on the injustices of the past and sets our collective values and mission for today and for the future. The Preamble honours the power of the people that brought down an oppressive regime and made the Constitution possible.

In celebration of our Constitution’s 24th anniversary, Constitution Hill has animated the words to the Preamble together with the Ndlovu Youth Choir who lend their voices to an inspiring rendition of the Preamble. We hope that through song, the vision of our country will be carried to as many people as possible and that we will all be inspired to work together to fulfill the grand vision of our Constitution.
