We can help SANCCOB save the African penguin

The African penguin population is decreasing at 7.9% a year and, at that rate, they could be extinct by 2035. The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) are constantly working to protect this beautiful animal. We caught up with SANCCOB’s head of conservation Nicky Stander to find out how we can get involved:

 

 

After months of fundraising to upgrade and improve their Chick Rearing Unit, SANCCOB is appealing to the public to raise just R250 000 in support of a new facility to bolster conservation efforts. For any donations or more information on how to help SANCCOB you can visit their website.
