The Western Cape, has to date, vaccinated more than 8 200 teachers and other school staff against Covid-19.

A further more than 3 500 people, in the sector, will receive their injection today.

The country’s schools close tomorrow and will reopen on July 19th.

The Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga has urged parents, whose children live in school boarding facilities, to collect their children by 12:00 on Friday.
