We dare to care!
We’re charity organization founded 13th March 2012 by Cheryl Wilson, who saw the need to actively help those who cannot help themselves. She recruited several sarmie mommiez and dads (those who especially know what it is like to go without) to help raise funds, raise awareness, raise morale and raise spirits by getting together every Monday and Thursday evenings to butter and spread a 1000+ sarmies a week for various charities. The cost of the sarmies alone amounts to R2400+ a week. We also have several groups who spread at home/bible study/book clubs and drop off.
Who we network, connect with, market, share and help:

  • SHIRAZ Ladies Circle #8
  • Malawi Outreach Project
  • Tygerburg Childrens Hospital (HOPE Clinics)
  • Little Fighters Cancer Trust
  • Kids in NeeD
  • Ruyterwacht elderly
  • Mowbray Maternity Unit
  • ODD SOX/Heavens Gate
  • Various animal rescue shelters

What we need:

  • Bread, margarine, spreads, soup, tinned food, fruit
  • Knitted items
  • Baby goods
  • Any used clothing, toys, books, dvds

Our goal is to feed, empower, inspire, motivate and enrich lives. We are passionate about connecting, networking and sharing to help solve problems. All sponsors and donations are put to great use for the children, adults and elderly who so desperately need help.
WE MAKE A LIVING BY WHAT WE GET, BUT WE MAKE A LIFE BUT WHAT WE GIVE!
