It has been the first week after the JoyRide with Angel Campey hit the road. The comedian and radio host teams up with fellow Smile FM presenters, Eugene Mpatheni and Dean Friederich.

Friends along for the ride
Joining Angel for the JoyRide are Smile FM fan favourites. Eugene was already part of the drive time team, delivering the sports and traffic updates throughout the show. Now he joins Angel for some Brain Basher – which he has yet to succeed in – and some laughs.
Dean Friederich was once a night owl, running the late-night music show during the week. He brings new fuel (and fun) to the JoyRide which airs weekdays 4PM to 7PM.

And why is it called the ‘JoyRide’?
Angel says it’s all because of the friendship she feels with the listeners. Think a group of friends hanging out, driving home together, sharing weird stories from the workplace, thinking out loud and having a good laugh.
