More than 8.6 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered across SA

A total of 11,672 doses of vaccine have been administered across the country since Saturday.

A total of 4,503 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and 7,169 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were administered to South Africans, this weekend.

To date, more than 8.6 million doses of vaccine have been given to residents across the country.

More than 5-million people have already received one-dose of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.

More than 1.736-million people are fully vaccinated, after receiving both the first and second doses of their Pfizer vaccine.
