Metro-rail Western Cape will, from today, 16 September, extend the Southern Line rail-service, to include the Muizenberg and Fish Hoek stations.
Train services will therefore run on a daily basis, between Cape Town and the Fish Hoek station.
In line with level 2 lockdown regulations, train capacity has been increased to 70%.
Spokes-person, Riana Scott, says turn-around times at the Cape Town and Fish Hoek stations will be slightly longer, to accommodate the regular sanitizing of trains.
